Some of my awesome university students surprised me by meeting me at the airport in Istanbul after my 14 hour flight back from USC in Los Angeles in September...I love these young men and ladies, they make my job worth doing well...
MY Current Information:
I am an English as a Foreign Language teacher at a University in Istanbul, Turkey. I am concerned about the use of (or lack thereof) technology in teaching English, and am working to help other teachers to boost the learning experience of their students by teaching them to incorporate technology into their lessons. I created this site to help teachers make more interesting content and as a result hopefully improving student engagement and participation.
Education:
I am a graduate of the University of Southern California (USC), where I earned my Education Doctorate (EdD) in Organizational Change and Leadership (e.g. Higher Education Management). I also have a Master's degree in Teaching (TESOL) from USC, and a second master's degree in Educational Media Design and Technology (Curriculum Design), from Full Sail University. My undergraduate degree, BS in Graphic Design is from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
